In response to the call for "building a community with shared future for humanity" and "accelerating the development of education modernization and innovation-driven development", “Integrate to Innovate, 2nd Annual International Education Forum” sponsored by the Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy, Fazheng Group and Sichuan University, and jointly held by Center for China and Globalization, South-South International Education Think Tank Research Institute and Beijing Royal Charity Foundation was held in Chengdu on December 2.
Nearly 500 masters in the field of international education focused on the four issues of education in global talent training, medical education, “the Belt and Road” education cooperation and artificial intelligence education, launched the ceremony of the Youth International Understanding Education Project, and published the Report of Development Strategies of Chinese International Schools in the Regions along "the Belt and Road".
The executive chairman of Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy - Mr. Sun Xiaobing, the president of the Overseas Student Education Management Branch of China Association of Higher Education - Ms. Liu Jinghui, the director of the Chinese Nationality of UN Women - Ms. Tang Zhuli and the president of the China Education Association for International Exchange - Mr. Liu Limin gave a welcome address to the guests. The representative of UNESCO in China - Ou Minxing, the deputy secretary of the party committee of Sichuan University, the director of West China Medical Center - Jing Jing, the president of Fazheng Group and the president of Beijing Royal School, Wang Guangfa gave keynote speeches.
During the forum, Beijing Royal Charity Foundation initiated the "Future Diplomat" — Youth International Understanding Education Project. The "Future Diplomat" project is the first public welfare project in China with the purpose of education promoting international understanding. It led public welfare organizations, government departments and social organizations from various fields such as diplomacy, education, public welfare and think tanks to gather to jointly explore the training modes of international understanding of the capacity of youth. The project will train a group of talents who have international perspectives, understand international rules, and are able to participate in international affairs and international competition.
At the same time, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and South-South International Education Think Tank Research Institute jointly issued the Report of Development Strategies of Chinese International Schools in the Regions along “The Belt and Road”, to encourage Chinese international schools to better serve the construction of “The Belt and Road”. The secretary-general of the Center for China and Globalization - Ms. Miao Lv and the president of South-South International Education Think Tank Research Institute - Ms. Wang Yan shared their analysis of the needs of the areas along “The Belt and Road” for Chinese international schools, the strategies and experiences of international schools in major Western countries, the combination of operation and marketing of international schools in typical countries along “The Belt and Road”.
The subsequent round table forum brought elite leaders from all walks of life together. A cross-border dialogue focused on the four issues of global talent training, medical education, “The Belt and Road” education cooperation and artificial intelligence education, to brainstorm more advanced education ideas.
Adhering to the ideas of "cross-border, integration, innovation and sharing" and combining the world's and Chinese educational hot spots, this forum aims to illuminate the new future of international education development by jointly exploring, discovering, and nurturing innovative talents.
