The report of “Best Practices in Mobile Learning” project of UNESCO, funded by Fazheng Group, was officially published. ?14 best practices were?included in the report which also marked the world’s most well-organized list in this regard.

With criteria being set by UNESCO, the project centers on 7 fundamental factors of mobile learning: vision, holistic planning of the school, mobile learning environment, capacity building and incentive strategies, mobile learning practices and achievements, as well as broader impacts and sustainability of mobile learning. ----Excerpted from Official Website of UNESCO

In order to identify the best practices, funded by Fazheng Group, UNESCO initiated the project, calling for proposals from qualified organizations. UNESCO then took six months to develop criteria for case selection, another six months to screen more than 150 proposals from 41 countries around the world, and another six months to a year to write the report. Then the report of 14 best practices was officially published.

14 best practices covered in the report included case studies on “Transforming Finnish schools to mobile learning environments with a competence-based core curriculum” from Finland, “Mobile learning as a catalyst to global citizenship education in China” from Beijing Royal School, “Classroom revolution through SMART education” from the Republic of Korea and “Establishing a system for developing digitally mature schools” from Croatia. Empirical analysis on British, Spanish, Israeli and Portuguese schools based on multi-year application of ICT as well as case studies from Brazil, Rwanda and Uruguay etc. were also included.

The joint efforts of Fazheng Group and UNESCO in carrying out global mobile learning case studies endeavored to provide technological guidance for producing the report on Best Practices in Mobile Learning. In return, the report would ?present us with successful mobile learning practices in school teaching. In addition, this project would help mobile learning gain more importance in various countries and regions by promoting communication and cooperation at high-level meetings and forums among partners and would also deliver value to policy makers and interested parties.

On this basis, the online database set up by UNESCO will offer support and guidance to schools ready to embrace mobile learning technology. By constantly overcoming barriers of space and time with technological innovation and further strengthening international cooperation with case studies, we strive for real-time connectivity among students and educators across the globe. Fazheng Group has also been investing in mobile teaching technology development, for instance, setting up satellite classrooms, carrying out mobile teaching and boosting global citizenship education through mobile learning. By further advancing the learning and practice of mobile teaching philosophy, Fazheng Group has been fulfilling its social responsibilities with actions to promote equitable education and lend impetus to rapid progression of global education.
