We are proud to announce that BRS’s Satellite Class and Mobile Learning Program was selected as one of the best 18 initiatives in mobile learning by UNESCO. UNESCO received more than 150 applications from 41 countries around the world. The Beijing Royal School case was the only bottom-up case from China dedicating to promoting mobile learning. The Beijing Royal School case, after two years of preparation and eight months of writing, illustrates how mobile technologies can be integrated in global citizenship education thus to facilitate students’ knowledge acquisition, their understanding and respects for difference and diversity. It also helps to enhance students’ social responsibilities. The BRS case is presented in the form of white paper book, introducing the school's experience and achievements in mobile learning, and will be published worldwide by UNESCO.
